• I got this mattress at least 6 months ago, probably 8, i have always had problems with my back since football when i was young, this bed really makes a difference compared to the spring mattress i had before this. the days when i woke up with a sore back are gone and i didnt have to spend $1,500.00 =Di was able to sleep on it that night after i set it up at 11AM, it doesnt stink and the pillows are nice, they have a shape for when you want to sleep on your back and front, and another one for when you want to sleep on your side. just turn it :P

• I'm a 5'8 175lb. man with a muscular build and find that my body sinks in areas I don't think it should with this bed. I bought it b/c people were reviewing how firm it is...this is not the case with me. My back has been hurting and I'm considering getting rid of it b/c it's not worth the pain. • IMO these types of mattresses blow spring mattresses out of the water. This "Cool Sensations Memory Foam Mattress" is very much on the firm side. If you are a side-sleeper, you will wake up with a sore shoulder and neck, because the mattress does not allow enough give to let you sink in far enough to accommodate the shoulder you sleep on. An excellent choice for back-sleepers, though. A great mattress because you don't bother the person sleeping next to you if you have to get up in the middle of the night - it does not make any noise or movement at all if you get up or lie back down.

• The mattress is incredibly comfortable and provides a good night's rest. The memory foam requires 3 to 4 hours to "inflate" after unrolling it (it arrives rolled up) and emits a smell at first which later disappears. While the mattress is excellent, the pillows are a huge disappointment - flimsy, thin, uncomfortable and cheap.
• I bought this bed for a guest bedroom, after 9 months the foam is already indented on the side where it has been slept on. I would say that it has only been slept on for about 60 days out of the 9 months.

• I'll also say that I was skeptical buying a mattress this way! The box it comes in (queen size) is heavy but relatively compact. I had to move it myself but managed to wrestle it out of the box, unrolled it on the bed (I used my old foundation), and then cut off the plastic. The mattress makes a hissing sound at first as it expands. The instructions say to let it expand on a flat surface for up to 48 hours, but that was not practical for me. • Received as promised, in a box that would make one think "no WAY is there a 14" bed in there". We opened, placed on our existing bedframe that has been modified to a platform. In our opinion it is not too firm. I have already noticed a reduction in body aches less than a week in. As for the off-gassing? It seems to be dissapating. I moved a Peace Lily that I had in the house into the bedroom since they are said to help absorb off-gassing. Warm? Oh you better believe it, but so far not intolerably so. It was a leap of faith to buy a bed online. I don't regret my decision.
