- Was shipped fast (received it in about a week) Huge heavy box. Manhandled it into the bedroom after removing from the box. It was flat as a pancake. Rolled it out onto the box springs and let it sit for about 12 hours. It had "poofed" up after that time period. I'm used to a soft pillow top innerspring mattress and my first night on this one was pretty bad, although the wife loved it right away. It was too firm for me. After getting used to it for a few days I started liking it more and more. It had just a small amount of the "new smell" and went away after about a week. It is a bit warm (I use an electric blanket and a down comforter) but after getting into bed I turn off the electric blanket, and it's fine. Like I said. It's pretty firm, but I'm liking it now, and the wife loves it! Overall a nice mattress for the price.
