- This mattress had a little more give in it that I originally expected, and is by no means light (it weighs about the same as the queen size inner spring mattress it replaced) but there is not arguing with the support and comfort level it provides. Indeed, if it was harder, I think it would offer a less effective experience.Initially concerns about temperature controls were put to rest on the first night; this mattress has a similar feel and sleeping experience to many high end hotels, and definitely has been worth the outlay.
