- We were replacing a mattress at our cabin this summer so went to the local store. While they had limited selection, we tried their samples. Looking for something less firm than our usual and with less "pillow top" than the usual these days. We just kept trying all the queen samples. Walden Firm was very comfortable. Not too hard or too soft. Pillow top was the same way. It happened to be very reasonable on pricing. Bought it. Loved it. Bought another one at home to replace 20 year old mattress. Outstanding price & comfort.
